Discover the Today’s Special Appassimento, a rich red wine from Puglia made using the traditional appassimento method. Grapes are partially dried to increase concentration and depth. The result is a full, sultry wine with a pronounced character.
Grapes & Vinification This wine is blended from roughly equal parts Negroamaro; Merlot; Primitivo; Malvasia. Grapes are hand-harvested in early October from carefully selected vineyards. The drying process gives the wine its distinctive intensity and rounded profile.
