Hyde No. 9 Iberian Cask

Hyde No. 9 Iberian Cask is a limited‑edition single malt Irish whiskey, triple‑distilled in copper pot stills from 100% malted Irish barley. It matures for a minimum of eight years in flame‑charred American ex‑bourbon casks and then receives a nine‑month finish in 200 L first‑fill Tawny Port casks from Pinhão in the Douro Valley. Bottled at 43% ABV and limited to 5,000 bottles.

Tasting notes: Hyde No. 9 Iberian Cask

  • Nose: Dried dark fruit — plum, raisin — enriched with cinnamon, nutmeg and bramble notes.
  • Palate: Bright red fruit (raspberry, berry) in harmony with green apple, honey and gentle spices — black pepper and hazelnut.
