Nose: ripe vanilla; soft caramel; dried fruit; subtle oak spice
Palate: rounded caramel; gentle toffee; mild peat hints; warm spices
Finish: medium length; smooth; slightly sweet with an oak touch

Serving notes Whisky perfect for the Mix

Cocktails: excellent in Whisky Highball, Whisky Sour, Boulevardier variations and contemporary long drinks.
Mixers: ginger ale; cola; soda water with lemon; sweet vermouth for softer cocktails.
Mix ratio suggestion: 1 part whisky : 3–5 parts mixer for long drinks; 1 part whisky : 0.75 part lemon + 0.5 part simple syrup for a balanced Whisky Sour.
Glass and ice: highball glass with plenty of ice for refreshing long drinks; old fashioned glass with one large ice cube for shorter cocktails.
Serving temperature: chilled but not freezing — 6–10 °C for long drinks; lightly chilled for shaken cocktails.
